Well, if you're reading this, then you must have seen the following post on NG:

Now, after reading that, you know, that sprite animations, are no longer getting top billing, on NG, they have finally started focusing more, on purely original content, made by everyone, hence the site's slogan. Now, what does this mean for DoD.... *sigh* Here's the part you'll care about. DoD, has been "Technically Cancelled". Now I know I was growing tired of the series, and it was already starting to take a back seat, as you've all been aware. So what it comes down to is this: Part of the reason I was still hanging onto DoD at this point was to keep myself relevant, so I wouldn't be forgotten while trying to work on my original works, but apparently that doesn't mean much now and I hope my fellow sprite animators will come to realize this in time as well. Parodies such as these are still ok on NG, but it won't get you very far anymore. Coming for future works, I have three projects planned. One, my lyrics and music to sing, the horror movie Pay Your Respects, with Joshua, and the biggest project, Retrograde. So one animated series, one animated horror, and then music for all you metal heads, and people who actually give a damn about the lyrics, the meaning behind the mindless head bopping and banging. Now I know, many of you will be disappointed BUT, here's what I plan to do. I've written up the basic plot synopses for DoD so I can post them for you all to read, to see how the series would have played out basically and ended. I will also be posting my sprite sheets, some are unfinished, sound effect archives, and any other sprites you might recommend on sendspace and then you can all just download the large packets. Now, maybe one day I'll go back to DoD, but this is not a definite, and I'm sorry if it all upsets you guys, but I have to do what is right for me in the end. I will NOT delete any of the work and supplies I have for DoD. Just in case one day, I want to open that door again, I'll hang onto the key that unlocks it, and odds are, it that I will one day go back to it. I do have something else to say that you will all enjoy. Elements of DoD, some plot concepts, and even certain characters from DoD, seeing as most of them I made myself, will be in the Retrograde series. Some as different animals or demons or even bio experiments created by Zeta, with the same basic design they had as a chaos beast and with the same personality you all loved. Such as Kiritsu, Supplicium, Azazel, and maybe even some others depending on what I can work with. Now as for my voice actors of some of these loveable icons. Do not worry, you will NOT be left out in the cold. If you're all still interested in playing these characters, and being a part of my work, then you're on board once again. And also, a lot of you have asked me before why I started DoD. Well, for those of you who don't know... I'll tell you.
Back when I was 14, I had been inspired by SQFP, sonic's quest for power, by LGD Vegetto and Cajun-Spirit and it got me into animation. I said, hey, I could do that. I practiced hard for months, taught myself flash by reading books and studying other artists, and almost even quit, and along my way I developed the idea of a series featuring my favorite characters, the under dogs of the two realms and I being one always myself, wanted to promote them. So I thought of a series where shadow and bowser would be on top, and from there I brought on Luigi as well, he being one of my other favorites, and always in the shadow of the stupid Mario. Like sonic, both of them carefree, self righteous windbags, who have no problems, and have to deal with easily combatable enemies. However, there's nothing worse then having your enemies and rivals tag team and even form an alliance with your own family. I also wanted to get more respect for them having seen shadow being called an EMO, not that I have a problem with Emos either, to each their own, but he being called one because he's angry, depressant, and has had real problems, so people favor sonic since he is so light and airy. Easy to judge when you've never had hard day in your life. This goes for reality too. Not to mention having concept that wasn't just about the heroes prevailing, actually giving the underdogs and even the villains a chance to shine. Something that will be carried very much through out all of my works. Only it will rotate in my later works, heroes win sometimes, underdogs or anti-heroes, and villains win sometimes, since life is not just one battle it's many that we must overcome, as the characters will experience as well. Then back to the characters of DoD, Luigi a scaredy cat always trapped in the shadow of his brother, not even being noticed, and finally bowser who is virtually, this, turtle, dragon, lizard devil, behemoth and yet, he's a frigg'in cry baby. And while DoD may be "technically done", in just 4 short years with the few episodes I released, not only did I get respect for these guys now I see, but I also, without even realizing it until many fans brought this to my attention, I've set a bar, a new standard I feel for this sprite genre with my: original plot line way different than anything ever seen, the sprites were all genesis/custom/from scratch and the over all style set a new respect I hope even to some people who hate this genre, and some I know it did. And on top of that... one can not expect to go very far on someone else's steam, aka fan art projects. And to answer your questions NO, I am not going to turn into a pompous windbag artist who think because they're original, that they are better and can mock spriters/fan-artists. Unlike them, I will NEVER, and have NEVER, forgotten, where I come from, and will eventually look back one day, and say where I came from, and be daaaaaaamn proud of it. Because many even tried to push me out of doing what I love, but I always said that the day I stop the sprite flash series parody work, will be because I decided too, on MY TERMS, and no one else. Remember that everyone.
So, that being said, if you enjoyed DoD thoroughly you'll enjoy the rest of my work too. Unless you were only interested because it was sonic stuff. So, to reiterate, you'll be seeing a lot of art from me here on, with drawn stuff, and in the mean time, I'm open to flash collabs always. Also this whole thing on NG as you read with the companies breathing down NG's necks will force everyone in the NG community to start collaborating, which is good news for me since I usually have such a hard time finding help, and especially good help now that it is all original work, people will be more inclined and interested. Alright, I guess that's everything... if you have any other questions or things I may have left out, please state and tell me.
Thanks for all your support, and being a fan of me, and my work, and I hope you continue to be, and enjoy what I have for the future.
God Bless you guys.

Well at first i was only interested in DoD because it was "sonic stuff" been a huge fan of sonic for as long i can remember but as the series continued it wasn't just because it was sonic it was mostly for the story, i wanted to know what was going to happen and that's what kept me in the series. At least is good to know that you may go back to DoD but even if you don't i won't get mad or anything it's your decision and we have to accept it, we can't try and force our ideas on you (at least i won't). Just know that you'll always get my support no matter what and i hope that your future projects give me the same sensation that DoD gave me.

Thanks for that dude, means a lot to me coming from one of my fans. I hope everyone has the same response to this as you.
