I started out the same as Silgon, but I then I realized how indepth and original your storyline was and after that I was hooked (also I realy enjoyed the idea of shadow being the main character and not sonic). Though I do not support your decision to cancel DoD; I do respect your disicion. I will be very broken up about this. What I am basically trying to say is that I really enjoyed the DoD series while it lasted and I will be waiting if you ever feel like restarting the series.

well, this is a sad but tragic truth. true, sprites are starting to lose their luster, but everyone likes it when someone goes retro after a few years. just make sure that you don't lose that key, as for me, i need to restart on my project and I'll keep it under my hat until sprites are back in style. until then, bonsoir mes amis.
I am realy sad NewGrounds would take away the ability for people like you to stop doing what you love to do. It seems that one of the sprite creator has created a sprite without permission or reconision to the owners of the music,sprite sheets, and ect. i do pray that NewGrounds will soon lift this law (or whatever they call it) soon even if you were to not continue DoD other artist potential is about to be thrown down the drain. I hope i am not waisting your time or saying something wrong. If so erase this letter.

i hope this comment reaches you i am just going to say that sure you may not got as much fame as you may have wanted in the past and it may not matter much now but still i think it should be said as i said befor in a comment a while ago you are ORIGINAL! its one of the key things that i thin describes you best you did things that other people would hardly ever do you put the villains on top you showed them the most gave them the spot light those are things that hardly anyone does in today's world not many people can stand a hero falling and a villian rising on top and thats what makes movies tv shows stale these day nothing new ever comes to the table you crossed that line you finally showed that heroes can get beat the crap up and lose now i don't know or want to know what the ending maybe i am just saying that you are good i really think you are the best out there you did not let fame bother you like Alvin-Earthworm did taking a long vacation deleting all of his accounts just to get away from something he created and run. you are doing some that is good you are moving onto new things and i hope they work out for you and i wish you the best and i will await for you to continue your dod if and when you shall finish it if you don't that's fine to i really don't think many of us will complain really i will leave with these finale words you did a great job every about dod was more then great the music you picked you specific scenes was great and fitting i have most of those songs now on my ipod thanks to you but keep moving forward look your best and do your best and i wish you my best of luck

I really loved your series but you "Technically cancelled" it!? Why!? It was another very awesome and cool and ultimate and epic series! man, although, I was hoping for another episode and then I read about your comments about "Dawning of Darkness" being cancelled. And I was "What the heck?", I was so sad about it being cancelled it's like you are like Alvin-Earthworm! I didn't like DoD cause for only 1 reason but because of all the action, the story!, the comedy! (I hope if you secretly continued it, you would add comedy) Why would you cancel such a cool series?... But I only don't like about one thing, the BLOOD effect, kinda making the series rated "M" and of all the violence, well too much violence, I have a series, Mario Battle Bros. I didn't cancel it yet, although, I still have classes in school, I couldn't even focus and also my Big Computer that I use for flash making is in my grandma's house, so far! Please I would love to see your review in my series, I'm kinda improving right now.
I dont really care if DoD is cancelled or not...its just that my favorite character Supplicium barely get to be on screen and hes gone.its your decision and i respect it altough if i had flash animating skills like yours i wouldnt have end it

Has much I hate for DOD to go, I'll let it go. It was really awesome. I'll support you in your future work. Wheather or not you go back to it I'll still support your decision and your work. Such a shame it had to end like this..but that's life. I have to admit this series is what got me to be a fan of yours. I never saw something with Mario and Sonic turn into something so gruesome and interesting that isn't the same drawn out plot from the original series of the two only mashed together and slightly edited. I got hopes up rather high when you responded to one of my comments that I 'inspired you to keep going.'(which you probably don't even remember) so I can't help but feel a bit upset... But as others say, its your life and you shouldn't have to waste it doing something for a bunch of e-fans you don't even know. Not to mention this was probably hard as hell, and time consuming to make! All I'm saying is that you do great work..and even if the series that got me to be your fan falls..I'm still a fan..and that isn't gonna change anytime soon.
