I 2nd Silgon's motion. We all have to understand that you have a life to live that's way more important than DoD. I loved the series a lot and if you decide to stop it now it's fine with me. The fact that you keep a "down to earth" attitude makes me respect you even more. I'm a big fan of Sonic & Mario and what you've put together in DoD so far is truly an amazing masterpiece of a project. I've always wanted to make a series of my own one day and you, as well as others, have inspired me to move forward. Keep doing whatcha do, be you, and I'll support your future works like a real fan does to the very end. P.S. I LOVE the music and artwork from DoD!

I understand why you canceled it, shade, but it makes me very disappointed. I mean, you did this because of the fans, or because of the popularity? I mean, what about the fans? It's already (a little) difficult to read and understand all english words, sometimes, i can't even understand the stories in my own language! So HOW THE HELL am i going to read it in a foreign language?

I have been watching this series for some years now and am saddened to hear this news. This has been some of the most deep story sprite series I've ever seen and definetly not "just some pixels fighting" like some haters of the sprite genre would say.It really did set the bar high for all other sprite series.

Shade.... i am gonna miss this series i actually thought this was the only thing that could top smbz, it was my highlight of the day and I am sad I will not be able to see the end of ep. 5 or the rest of the series, but I have never doubted you so I trust your judgement and I'm sure I will enjoy your future work. So,I was interested in DoD cuz this one was finally something where someone like you,can use sprites correctly and I really like when the dark side wins. And i really hate to see Shadow defeated. You're the one who IM intersted in. You got awesome work. I liked DoD not because of Sonic style. I watched it because I liked it.And I still will like. And I still will be fan of u Shade.

Its not like its the end of the world( well, maybe for some people) no less it was a great series, to bad its ended for now, but looking foward to your next big projects. Not to worry, Tom made it clear in the whole post that he's gone to great lengths to protect NG's past, and parodies are still fair game, as long as you don't use copyrighted music, and well, basically do a lot of work on it and if you are ok with the idea of not really being noticed much.
There goes another one. I suppose fully hand-drawn is not an option?
I'm just not interested in doing that much work for a fanart project. My future work will be fully drawn though.

Well, it's a sad day for me now that sprite-work is going to become rare, since thats my favorite type of flash movie to watch, but what happens, happens. Quick question for you, I know you were almost done part 3 of ep 5, will you plan to either release what you have, or finish the episode, or will you just post a synopsis? To be honest, I only reason I got into DOD is not because of sonic though I am a fan, but because it had shadow in it. Most people forgot how BA he is espcecially from the Archie comics when he safes and conqueurs all of Mobius in one year. I look forward to your futre projects.

Well at first i was only interested in DoD because it was "sonic stuff" been a huge fan of sonic for as long i can remember but as the series continued it wasn't just because it was sonic it was mostly for the story, i wanted to know what was going to happen and that's what kept me in the series. At least is good to know that you may go back to DoD but even if you don't i won't get mad or anything it's your decision and we have to accept it, we can't try and force our ideas on you (at least i won't). Just know that you'll always get my support no matter what and i hope that your future projects give me the same sensation that DoD gave me.
