Okay, seeing as how a lot of you don't really comment on my artwork on here, I wonder just how aware of it you are. I post things up on here too, like finished pictures, painted, etc. So check my out art on here and here's a link to something more recent, and be sure to read my comments on it and junk like that please. I hate having to repeat myself. Also, just to clear something up since some people make this mistake still.

Retrograde, is a graphic novel (comic book) series of my OWN creation, an ORIGINAL idea, with NO CONNECTION, to SONIC or ANY OTHER VG CHARACTER/COPYWRITTEN CHARACTER. Just clearing that up, and I'll be making that post on DA now as well since many people still did not get that, and that means that any character from DoD will not have ANY CONNECTION to their former DoD self. Like Azazel or Supplicium for example, were original characters of my own, that I decided to make and use in a sonic series. So now that it's done, they will be tailored ever so slightly so they are 100% original, meaning mine only, without reliance on any canon copywritten story or character. In other words, why let good characters go to waste when I can just tweak them a bit in design? Okay guys? Good, glad that's cleared up, now here we go:

I'v seen your art and it's good, but I'm not good at reveiwing art most of the time. I don't want to just say "that's good" because any dipshit can say that. With flash one can say much more much easier.

Trust me, I'm fine with hearing a simple comment. A review and a vote just shows the artist whose work you like some support, same as a flash.

P.S. That's in glitch in NG's system. Happens to everyone all the time.

Retrograde. Heh. That means to reverse things in effect. That was my anti-illuminati alias back in 2008. The group is disbanded and everyone is in prison now. Oh well, you can have it.

I chose it for the "Retrograde Amnesia" actually, but that is also true too. I did choose the word for the series because it has quite a few meanings/interpretations.

Phew, Okay. A rare comment post. Can't Remember the last time I did this. Hey,Shade! Remember me? We had an "Interesting" conversation via Review on one of the DoD preveiws. I wanted to say that I am 100% behind the cancellation. I was a HUGE fan of the series, and I veiwed it as kind of a blueprint; How sprite movies SHOULD look. When I was watching the trailers, I had a hunch that it would be cancelled eventually. A human can only take so much of the same thing without desiring change. For you, The series probably got to the point where you said "Okay, I make an episode, Respond to reviews, Take oh, say 6-8 months out of my life to make another, submit it, listen to people whine for the next one, and repeat."
I think part of the reason some people took the cancellation so hard (see:sonicxx9) Is because when people love a series, they become attached to it in a sense, and they almost feel as if they should have some say or some ownership, Somebody will say "Listen I've watched this series from the beggining so I know what should be done with it.". I do cling on to the miniscule chance that you someday return to the series, but It is your call. Before I go, I would like to say that I noticed you said your inspiration for DoD came from Sonic's Quest For Power, Another Series I am a fan of. You need to know this last part, You went out and shoved your foot so far up that series ass, That any pebbles in your shoe became diamonds. DoD surpassed SQFP In so many ways that I can't name them all. The Sprite Era of Newgrounds may be over, but you were the pinnacle, The End-All. Even If the Anti-Sprite post had never appeared on the BBS, I EXTREMELY doubt any other sprite series could have ever topped it.

Thanks friend, so much, that really means a lot, more than you know. I hope you, and everyone else will enjoy my future artwork as much as DoD was enjoyed. =)

I can say one thing though. If I ever went back to DoD. I'd pick up where I left off, but it would either be a fully drawn animated series or a drawn graphic novel series.

Hey, just dropped by to send you a keep-it-up message. I've paid attention to some of your artwork and each new piece has been growing more interesting. I like the dark takes on characters, along with the original art. I'd leave a review and vote, but I'm not very experienced in reviewing art so my reviews wouldn't be very sincere or meaningful, unlike flash. I'm looking forward to seeing Retrograde unfold and your art in 'full blast.' It's obvious to say you have a calling for a good work.

Thanks dude, I appreciate that, and it means lot. As far as the things I need to work on more, I'm still practicing anatomy/proportions, and my screamer vocals for music. Everything else though is coming along quite well. Thank for your support dude. =)

I think you're a very good artist Shade. You do good at making pictures and flash animations. Gonna miss DOD though. I know it's cancelled, and it's understandable, but I was starting to really get into it. lol

Thanks dude. I'm trying to get those few in the art portal still. NG still has a lot of bugs, and I spotted this one in the redesign. Figures just when I decide to submit more...

Maybe some here and there if I get bored. I am open to people who want to make games. I'd be willing to make the sprites for them.

It's going to be advnture/sci-fi. I only say adventure because I can't label it as:

Action/Horror/Sci-Fi/Drama/Mild Romance/Witty sarcastic humor

Sorry Anthony I don't know what your talking about if your talking about an art program I use Gimp.
Its not what type of program you do to upload something, it was a newgrounds bug.

*facepalm* That's what I'm talking about, your browser and your OS can effect the problem when uploading. But you're not scouted in the art portal so you're not experiencing the same problem as me dude.
