Yes, my posts are long, but if you care about my work and are a true fan, you'll take the 10 minutes out of your time to read it. Those of you who do read my posts in full are excluded from this and I thank those of you who are truly supportive of me and my work.

But I digress. As promised, my final obligation to the Dawning of Darkness fans, here are the DoD plot synopses:

These paragraphs will hopeully satify your questions as it did for the fans on deviantart as well. It will be sometime till I get my new animations up and running since I'm still finishing up typing the character bio's and designs up, and then I have to draw them, and I'm still practicing anatomy. But if you keep your eye on the art I submit here, and watch me on deviantart you will be kept well up to date.

Now something else I'd like to say about what DoD did for me.

Well, after posting my DoD synopses on DA and seeing everyone's comments to it, it also made me realize the moral behind the story, I had long since forgotten:

"Shows you what your anger and hate can do to you, if you let it go to far..."

Something I have done a lot for the past few months in light of a few prior incidents. So, thanks for being fans guys, and I guess I'll say thank you to my series, DoD as well. You've taught me something yet again old friend, so to speak.

Also, I'm in the process of uploading things like my DoD sound effects, backgrounds, and special effect sprites. It took some time to upload it all but you should be able to download them in the links below.

All my sprite character sheets are now uploaded as well, any sheets "missing" are do to not being really started and won't be uploaded, sorry.

Damn. The next episodes (if they would have been posted) were a complete bloodbath. I liked the last few episode synopses. But I thought the Devil couldn't be killed. Anyway, I can't wait to see more artwork by you.

Oh good god! How many times do I have to say this...

I take it you're one of those people who didn't read the whole post, like most people. That's what I get for saying DoD is cancelled to soon into the post. I FLAT out say that i WANTED TO STOP DOD. The NG thing was merely a loophole and a way for me to ease my fans into the idea of no more sonic fanart. And since these posts I've made I've noticed a sudden slow decline in my eps. 5 p2 of DoD's voting score with each passing day. Coincidence? Doubtful. I see my fans on DA are so much more true and loyal than those of NG. I'm not saying all of you are like this, you loyal fans know who you are, and thanks again old friends, you are excluded from this reply. Nevertheless, I will say this one last time...

I'M TIRED OF DOD, IT'S DONE, IT'S OVER, I'M FINALLY GETTING A CHANCE TO GO THROUGH MY ORIGINAL ARTWORK THAT I'VE HAD IN THE WINGS FOR YEARS NOW. SO EITHER STOP WATCHING ME AND MY WORK BECAUSE IT'S NO LONGER SONIC, OR ACCEPT IT AND MOVE ON.

Also, half assed cowards? It's the law number one, and two, why would anyone want to spend their whole lifetime only animating parodies? It's boring, and won't show you're full potential. No offense to anyone still making parodies, but I personally am tired of it. No offense intended to my parody making fans/friends.

SO STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT DOD, END OF DISCUSSION, I CAN'T SAY THIS ENOUGH.

Awesome, thank you dude. I'm still doing research for my characters like on the animals, weapon designs, and even a multitude of mental illnesses. Kind of like batman villains, but most of them being assassins, lol.

Well, at least you did what you said you would do and gave us the full story. That's good enough for me. When I hear a good story I'd rather hear how it ends, wrapped up and everything, rather than it ending vaguely (ya know, like Yu-Gi-Oh! GX ended.) I can seee how animating gets tiresome especially when there are "expectations" so to speak. I said would support your decisions and I still am. Live a good life with your future projects and stuff, dude. I'm a year younger than you are, but I still know how college life can conflict with flash productions and things like that, and how exhausting life in general can be. Stay cool and stick to your plan.

Sorry to hear you're ending DOD as it is, but at least you're being reasonable about it. I understand how hard it is to be motivated to continue with something that doesn't pay you money, takes an extremely long time, and can cause a lot of frustration. My hat's off to you. I'd honestly probably quit after the first two episodes if I were in your shoes. You thought about your fans though, and nobody can be angry at you for that. Hope you'll get back to this someday, like Alvin-Earthworm did, but if you don't, it's cool. Just do what you gotta do. lol

Well, shit.

I know and understand your reasons for quitting DoD. However, I didn't like it just because it had Sonic characters. It had a magnificent plot, and amazing, action packed fighting sequences, and that was what kept me waiting for further episodes. Your animation skills have been incredible. I couldn't ask for a better animator to work on such an intense series. Thank you for allowing us to use your sprites, and DoD will be missed, Shade.

I'll be totally honest, I am a huge Sonic fan and I kept watching this (and is pointed out by some of my reviews) as a person rooting for Shadow, but at the same time, I was and still am looking for other good sprite movies, or what's left of them. But after so long, and seeing the plot thicken, I realized that seeing Shadow be on top was only the icing on the amazing cake known as a great story. After watching DoD 5 P2 I had the fear of you stopping because of such an incredible new side to the story as well, so I'm hoping the plot synopsis will keep me satisfied until that one day you decide to return to DoD comes. I've never asked why you have begun the series and now that I've read it, you've gained so much more of my respect for doing what YOU want to do. I hope to see some of your future works, because through the years you've not only become the maker of one of my favorite series, yet one of my favorite submittors overall. Without keeping this as a farewell, I wish you amazing luck on your future endeavors. From a long-time fan.

In my future animation series Retrograde, I will be needing a few other animators on board to help me with them, and in addition to that, audio artists for music and sounds. I know you're a good writer. So do you have an msn name or something so we can keep in touch? I could use another writer on board other than myself to help check through things sometimes for better dialouge and shit ya know?

Yeah, in fact, I do. I'll inbox you with it after I'm done writing this. I'm trying to hold back this giant grin on my face because I've just been offered some help with a dialogue/writing for one of my favorite artist's (if you will) future project(s).
